Community Support

We provide facility space for K9 Dog Training  class on Mondays & Thursdays from 5:30 - 8:00  p.m., Shasta County Interfaith Forum, Redding Community Chorus, Shasta Brass, Western Service Workers (meeting the needs of lowest paid workers in Shasta Co.), peace and social justice networks, and more. We actively support programs such as  Hope Van, Good News Rescue Mission, Nor Cal Outreach & Pride Festival, Yakima Christian Mission, SEACM, Francis Court/Faithworks (low income apartments for transitional housing to self-sufficient seniors), One Safe Place and GoodWater Crossing (transitional housing for the unsheltered). We run the Second Helpings Thrift Store (2636 Churn Creek Rd.) whose proceeds benefit not only our church but several of the previously mentioned programs..
